"Lumenoise was developed during a residency at Gaîté Lyrique (http://www.gaite-lyrique.net/). "

You certainly have an old, dried out pen in the drawer of your desk. Do you also still own an old CRT-TV?
In this hands on electronics workshop, you will turn your broken pen into a retro-futuristic input device with which you control an audiovisual synthesizer game that runs on your television.
After a short introduction about the theory of analogue video signals, you will solder your own abstract video game console which uses an almost forgotten input device: The lightpen was already invented in the 1930's, became a bit popular in the 1980's and is replaced by the computer mouse and touchscreens, now. Still, it looks like magic if you start to 'draw' noises on the surface of your TV-screen.
You don't need to be an electronics expert to participate at this workshop - that's the stuff that you will learn. But in order to participate, you should be good with working with your hands and abstract thinking.
With LUMENOISE, you will impress your friends and annoy your neighbours. That's guaranteed.
